Laurie is a true professional! She took the time to listen to our concerns and our needs for redesigning our home. Not only was she able to assist us in purchasing the right furniture, window treatments and carpet selections but she had the greatest skill of taking a look at an existing space and redesigning it for today’s family. She turned a dated, dungy, cold basement into a place where we love to watch movies, play board games and just relax on the weekends. Laurie added unique elements like shiplap boards and a beautiful raw edge wooden countertop. She searched high and low for a specific penny tile that added a special touch to our kitchenette backsplash and really made our family room feel cozy. On the main floor of our house, our kitchen had not been touched since the 1970s. Laurie’s redesign of our kitchen island and eating area has left us with a beautiful place to create meals and enjoy hanging out with friends and family. Laurie just has an eye for taking a look at a room and transforming it into an ideal living space.
Laurie always astounded us with her attention to detail and her ability to deal with construction issues. She worked closely and effortlessly with our contractors to make sure our vision became a reality. So many things can go wrong when redesigning a space and Laurie was always there to make sure things stayed on schedule and the design was implemented with quality and care. She took away so much of the anxiety associated with construction and made it as pleasant as it can be when redesigning an entire floor in your home. She always responded to emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner. We were never left to wonder what was going on and where we stood in the process.
